Contest Rules
Eligibility: Open to all participants who meet the registration requirements.
Submission: All entries must showcase an original Boho braid in any style (fantasy styling welcomed).
Materials: All materials will be provided; no purchase necessary. Participants must use the provided items, though additional materials from Beauty Elements products are permitted.
Selection Process: We will choose 20 contestants for the preliminary round based on their registration and the support they receive. To boost your chances, encourage family and friends to comment on and engage with post. This engagement is also encouraged for round one online postings.
Judging Criteria: Entries will be evaluated on creativity, technique, and overall presentation.
Registration Period: Open from September 10th to September 25th.

1st Place: USD 400
2nd Place: USD 200
3rd Place: USD 100
Prizes are non-transferable and will be awarded in USD.

Product Pickup: Contestants must collect hair products at the HHBE Show on October 5th at the Pegasus Hotel, Jamaica. Failure to obtain the products by this date may result in disqualification.
Product Use: Only products provided by Beauty Elements can be used for styling. though additional materials from Beauty Elements products are permitted.
Style Creation Requirements:
Submission Deadline: October 15th.
Submission Content:
Style Creation: (Oct 5th-15th)
- Include three high-quality photos of your completed hairstyle.
- Submit a 30-second video showcasing the products used and the full braiding process. The products must be clearly visible throughout the video.
- The Boho braid style must be done on a real person and must show the entire braiding process using the company's products to be eligible for judging.
- The final look should be revealed at the end of the video.
- Don’t forget to tag @Bijouxhairusa as a collaborator and use the designated hashtags to boost your visibility on social media.

Announcement Date: October 28th.
Show off your skills and create a stunning hairstyle!
Finalists: 5 finalists will be selected based on the submissions and online engagement.
Additional Hair Collection: Finalists must collect additional hair products between October 31st and November 1st.
Final Round
Event date: November 10th.
Location: NACH Expo in Kingston, Jamaica.
Presentation: Finalists must present their final look at the event for judging by professional judges and the audience.

Voting for the People’s Choice Boho Braid Face Off is open to everyone, making it simple for family, friends, and supporters to help their favorite contestant shine. To cast a vote, all you need to do is like, comment, or share the posts of your preferred submission, and most importantly, hit the poll "Yes" button. Only posts that are tagged with @Bijouxhairusa and include the contest's designated hashtags will be eligible for voting, so be sure to follow these rules for your vote to count. Each person can vote once per submission, but increasing engagement through comments and shares will help boost the contestant’s visibility and score.
The voting period will start as soon as submissions are posted and will continue until October 27th While public votes are a key part of the competition, the final decision will be made by the judges, who will assess each entry based on creativity, technique, and overall presentation. To keep the competition fair, any sign of cheating, such as the use of fake accounts, may result in disqualification. So, gather your supporters and make sure your entry gets all the recognition it deserves!
