We're bringing People's Choice back, and this time it's all about Boho! Calling all braiders—this is your time to shine. Create a unique Boho style that showcases your talent and sets you apart from the rest. Get ready to wow the judges and online viewers!

We are looking for 20 contestants. Participants will be selected based on their registration during this period.

Registration period:

Open: September 10th
Close: September 25th

Requirements:

• Products: You must use only Beauty Element products. (Must show Items)
• Video Submission: Record the process in a short 30-second video.
• Photos: Upload photos of your final style.
• Judging Criteria: Uniqueness, style, and technique.

All submissions must be submitted by September 30, 2024. The winner will be announced on Instagram on October 2rd. You can collect your prize directly from us at the HHBE on October 4-5 at the Pegasus Hotel.

Evaluation

Phase 1: Registration (September 10 - September 25)

Registration is open from September 10th to September 25th. We’re looking for 20 talented participants. Register by filling out your details below.
No photos or videos are required at this stage, but please confirm your availability for the HHBE Show on October 5th, where you will collect your hair products for the contest.

Phase 2: Preliminary Round
(October 5th)

Show up at the HHBE Show in Jamaica to get started!

Date: October 5th
Time: 2:30 PM (flexible)
Location: Pegasus Hotel, Jamaica
At this event, you will pick your hair products in a fun “grab method” where you choose from premium hair items. You must be present at this event to participate.

Phase 3: Style Creation & Submission
(October 5th - 15th)

Show off your skills and create a stunning hairstyle!

After receiving your products, you’ll have until October 15th to create your hairstyle.
Upload a 30-second video on social media showing the products and your styling process. Tag us as a collaborator and use the official contest hashtags.
Post three photos of your finished hairstyle.
Voting will be open to the public, so make sure to share your post and gather as many likes, comments, and shares as possible!

Phase 4: Voting & Finalist Selection
(October 15th - 28)

Get votes and secure your spot in the finals!

The People’s Choice will be based on social media engagement and online votes through the registration page.
The top 5 contestants will be selected as finalists.
Finalists will be announced on October 28th and will receive additional hair products for the final round.

Phase 5: Final Round
(November 10th at NAHC Expo)

Bring your best work to the stage!

Date: November 10th
Location: NACH Expo, JC Auditorium, Kingston, Jamaica
Finalists will present their models at the live event. You’ll be judged by the crowd and professional judges based on the overall look, technique, and creativity.
The top 3 winners will receive cash prizes and the title of Beauty Elements Champion!
